I had one done for my identical twins. Your doctor will usually have some idea though. Normal Boy/Girl are fraternal. The only certain identical is same amniotic sac(and shared placenta?) My doctor’s were only 90% sure my twins are identical, but they do not look alike so I had the testing. It will cost you one hundred fifty-ish dollars I think. It was almost a decade ago.

Only 1% of all identicals. Conjoined are mono but they don’t have to be joined. They are also mirror twins. My twins are monoamniotic.
