My twin Richard and I had to wear name pins when we were in elementary school we looked so much alike that our teachers couldn’t tell us apart. We had to wear the pins right up until the 4th grade. Reason being is my Mom insisted that we dressed alike, we were her boys.

My daughter had mirror twins. When they first came home we sort of took shifts I would stay up at night and then her and her Dad would take the day shift. It was hard but I loved every minute. They are now adults but I love being in the same room just to see how they interact with each other.

This post has completely blessed my little heart. Finally someone that understands that twin pregnancies CANNOT be compared to a singleton pregnancy! I have felt so judged by friends for commenting about the ligament stretching that occurred pretty early in my pregnancy, some of my friends even told me that I’m unfit and need to start exercising, they have no clue!

For the first time I can see that there isglimmer of hope on my journey of becoming a mommy of two little girls, that there isn’t a problem with me, this is normal!

I appreciate your perspective, but as a mother of fraternal 3 year old twin boys working on a master’s degree, with a husband and solid source of income, I feel like I am whining if I discuss my “problems.” I feel like the therapist has people with “real” problems he could be helping instead of listening to my pity party. I always opt to “get through it,” and “suck it up.” And I have continued to move from one situation to the next without enjoying much of anything but preserving through it all.
